Round Robins
are designed for those of you who would prefer getting away from the computer and cyberspace for a more personal activity. Robins are groups of about six members who want to share information in one of the established topics which currently include greenhouse management, vegetable growing, cacti and succulents, orchids, yard and garden, begonias, general growing, cool/solar greenhouses, etc. Robins work like this: You receive a packet of about six letters, each written to the group by another participant. You enjoy each letter and remove his/her letter from the group adding a fresh letter telling of experiences in the topic area, answering or commenting on questions and issues brought up in the other letters. Most letters are about two pages, typed or handwritten. Photographs and other information, and sometimes seeds are often included. Robins are more formally organized, personal, and allow more time for quality responses. We ask that each Robin participant respond with a letter to the group and mail the packet to the next person within a week or so. Join in! Our many topics are just waiting for you.
