Richard Schreiber - Vice-President: email: dick.schreiber@pioneer.com Richard Schreiber lives in Norwalk Iowa with Cynde his wife of 40 years, both have a passion for growing things. They are active Iowa State Master Gardeners and enjoy volunteering their time, expertise and energy. They belong to local and national plant organizations; attend shows, conventions and make horticulture trips to Central and South America. The life-long favorite plant group of Richard's is cactus and succulents. Cynde simply loves all things that grow. They have rebuilt a Lord and Burnham greenhouse in 1994 to expand their hobby and knowledge of growing cactus, succulents and starting flowers and veggies from seed. He is currently doubling the size of the structure for their retirement years. Richard works at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, as a telecommunications engineer writing installation specifications, ordering materials, doing service requests and a communications resource for the Pioneer facilities across the US. Richard is also a Past President of HGA.
